Bach Math Coach

My name is Allison Scovone and I'm the Building Math Coach at Bach Elementary.

 

Previously, I taught at Thurston Elementary for 13 years. I've had experience teaching 1st, 4th, and 5th grades and have developed and led dozens of professional development sessions on a variety of topics.

 

Additionally, I was the AAPS Elementary Summer Learning Institute's Math Curriculum Specialist for 9 years. During this time, I developed and implemented math curricula for kindergarten through fourth grade.

 

I am certified in AddVantage Math Recovery (AVMR) Course 1, Course 2, and Fractions course, which I look forward to utilizing to help striving students.

 

Outside of school, I am a Group Fitness Instructor at Life Time and enjoy traveling with my husband.

 

I'm excited to be part of the Bach team and to be working with teachers to help every student find success in math and think of themselves as mathematicians.
